Our Sew With Us series continues into September with a creative class focused on learning new skills using sewing machines and using beautiful remnant fabrics.
Led by the talented team from Remnant Revolution, these twice-monthly sessions are a wonderful opportunity to get hands-on with sustainable sewing, pick up new skills, and enjoy connecting with others in a friendly, creative space.

International Older Person's Day Event
Join us at The Old Department Store this International Day of Older Persons as we host a warm and welcoming community celebration in partnership with Gloucestershire Older Persons Association (GOPA).
This special event is an opportunity for the older generation of Cirencester and surrounding areas to connect over a delicious, pay-as-you-can lunch, and meet local organisations who are passionate about supporting independent, healthy and dignified living in later life.
Expect conversation, connection and community—all in the heart of Cirencester.

We recently shared that The Old Department Store has been named one of the UK’s top 100 social enterprises in the SE100 Index 2025! Since opening our doors on 8th November 2024, this recognition is only possible because of the strength, support, and generosity of our community.
To celebrate this award, we’re inviting you for an informal and relaxed evening of cocktails, snacks, and conversation—hosted at The Long Table.
This is our way of saying thank you to everyone who has walked this journey with us so far. Whether you've collaborated with us, supported us, cheered us on, or simply shared in the vision—we'd love you to be there.
